Anupama Parameshwaran, who was in Hyderabad till recently to promote her forthcoming film Rakshasudu, has moved on to her next project. The young actress is going start shooting for the Tamil remake of Ninnu Kori, and she’ll reprise Nivetha Thomas’ role from the original version. Atharva Murali will play Nani’s role from the original. Kannan is going to direct the film.
The actress flew to Chennai where a big chunk of the film is going to be shot, and later, the team will fly to a foreign country to shoot the rest of the film. Talking about the film, Anupama said, “I’m glad to play the character that Nivetha has essayed brilliantly in the original. It’s a challenging role and I’m trying to internalise the emotions of that character. I’ll try my best to bring life to that character and do not pale in comparison.”
In Rakshasudu, the actress is paired opposite Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas. Ramesh Varma has directed the film which will hit the screens on August 2.
