Actress Anupama Parameswaran, who recently appeared in Mareechika, shared an emotional note on Instagram revealing that 2021 was one of the toughest phases of her life. She recalled how her close friend Sai Pallavi gifted her a set of watercolors after learning what she was going through. Anupama said the gesture introduced her to painting and helped her discover a side of herself she never knew existed.
Sharing pictures of the paintings displayed in her studio, Anupama revealed that all of them were created during that difficult period. She added that her parents later framed the artworks, turning a challenging chapter of her life into a wall full of memories. The actress, however, did not disclose the exact reason behind her struggles.
Sai Pallavi responded with a heartfelt message, calling the paintings “personal and beautiful” and expressing happiness at seeing Anupama’s talents bloom. The exchange between the ‘Premam’ co-stars quickly won over fans, who praised their long standing friendship and support for each other.
On the professional front, Anupama is gearing up for films such as Crazy Kalyanam and Bhogi, while she has also signed a new psychological thriller directed by Shaan. Sai Pallavi, meanwhile, has a packed lineup that includes Ramayana, D55 with Dhanush, and Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film alongside Vijay Sethupathi.
