Anupama’s Lockdown Postponed Twice in a Month

Anupama Parameswaran’s Lockdown was supposed to release long ago but didn’t. The makers recently skipped the planned December 5 release, citing heavy rains as the reason, and locked December 12, 2025, as the new date.

When everything seemed to be back on track, Lyca Productions once again announced a postponement. Lockdown has now been pushed twice in a month, this time due to unspecified “unforeseen circumstances.”

There is still no clarity on the film’s release, and the buzz around it has dropped to zero. Even Anupama herself has distanced from promoting it both online and offline, for reasons that remain unknown.

The thriller is directed by debutant AR Jeeva. Charlie, Nirosha, Priya Venkat, Livingston, Indhumathi, Rajkumar, and others round out the supporting cast.
