Star heroine Anushka has had a fabulous start to 2018 with the super success of Bhaagamathie. The actress is yet to announce her next project. Recently, there were several reports which said that Anushka will be playing legendary yesteryear actress-filmmaker Bhanumathi’s role in the much-awaited biopic on Savitri, Mahanati.
However, Mahanati’s director Nag Ashwin has trashed these rumors in his latest interview with a popular news portal. Nag Ashwin said that Anushka was never approached for Bhanumathi’s role. He also revealed that Mahanati may not be releasing in March end as announced earlier due to a delay in the film’s VFX work.
