We had reported earlier that Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram’s 2013 blockbuster, Atharintiki Dharedhi, is being remade in Tamil. Simbu reprises Pawan’s role, while Catherine Tresa and LIE heroine Megha Akash are the female leads in the film.
Meanwhile, the makers unveiled the first look poster and title for this much-awaited remake. The film is titled Vandha Rajavaathaan Varuven. The film is nearing completion and it’s slated for release during the upcoming Sankranthi festive season.
Sundar C is the director and Lyca Productions is bankrolling the project. Dhruva and KAY fame Hiphop Tamizha is the film’s music composer.
