Ramayana is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films of the year. Ahead of its much-awaited trailer launch, a select few were given an exclusive preview of the grand spectacle, with filmmaker Atlee being one of the lucky attendees.
The Raaka director couldn’t hide his excitement after watching the trailer. Sharing his reaction, Atlee revealed that he was completely blown away, praising producer Namit Malhotra’s ambitious vision while applauding director Nitesh Tiwari for bringing it to life with remarkable craftsmanship.
Speaking about the performances, Atlee described Yash’s Ravana as “lethal” and “unbelievable,” while showering praise on Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, calling them “stunning” and “ethereal” in their respective roles.
“Every frame feels grand, fresh, and magical,” Atlee said, adding that the trailer looks “absolutely epic.” He also wished the entire team a massive blockbuster for their ambitious cinematic venture.
Praise from a filmmaker like Atlee has only heightened the anticipation surrounding Ramayana, as the makers gear up for its grand trailer launch. The epic is set to arrive in theatres during Diwali 2026, with the second installment scheduled for release during the same festive season the following year.
