Post the Covid pandemic, the audience is not at all willing to go to the theaters until and unless there is something special that is being showcased on screen.
Going by the current trend, only action films or those filled with big stars and entertainment is clicking at the box office all over the country.
In the last year or so, when films like Pushpa, RRR, KGF 2, and Vikram are made in a larger-than-life aspect, the audience has lapped them up.
The latest example is Vikram. It has slowly picked up big time at the box office in both Telugu and Tamil and has made good business on the weekdays as well.
Even though big films like Prithiviraj came out, not many lapped it up as there was no proper action in them. So, the bigger the action the stars do, the most positive result they will get.
