After creating a sensation at the global box office, James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash is finally gearing up for its OTT debut. The film’s digital premiere has been eagerly awaited by fans who missed it in theatres and those looking forward to revisiting Pandora once again.
The much-talked-about sci-fi epic is set to stream on JioHotstar from today. Interestingly, many expected the film to arrive at midnight, but the platform has scheduled its premiere for 12:30 PM. Avatar 3 will be available in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Avatar: Fire and Ash is the third installment in the blockbuster franchise and introduces the Ash People, a fire-associated Na’vi clan led by Varang. The film stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, and Kate Winslet in key roles.
The visual spectacle emerged as a massive box-office success, grossing $1.49 billion worldwide and crossing the Rs 200 crore mark in India. The film also won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects.
