The third installment in James Cameron’s Avatar franchise, Avatar: Fire and Ash, opened to mixed reviews but still performed fairly at the box office, grossing nearly $1.5 billion worldwide. The visually stunning entertainer is now gearing up for its OTT debut.
According to the latest update, Avatar: Fire and Ash will begin streaming on Disney+ from June 24. In India, the film will be available on Jio Hotstar. After being made available on a rental basis earlier, the movie will now be accessible to Disney+ subscribers at no additional cost.
Set after the events of Avatar: The Way of Water, the film follows Jake Sully and Neytiri as they struggle to cope with the tragic loss of their son, Neteyam. Meanwhile, Colonel Miles Quaritch joins forces with the Mangkwan clan, also known as the Ash People, to continue his hunt for Jake Sully and his family.
