Speaking in a recent interview, production designer Avinash Kolla said the biggest challenge the team faced while working on Peddi was ensuring that the film wouldn’t remind audiences of Dangal, which also revolves around wrestling.
“My main agenda was that the movie shouldn’t feel monotonous. Audiences shouldn’t feel like they have already seen similar set work before. We experimented a bit and gave a special treatment to Peddi,” said Avinash Kolla.
Avinash further stated that he feels fortunate to have worked on a film like Peddi. He added that the film has the best script he has heard in his career and said he was determined to give his best so that the story reaches greater heights.
