Aparna Balamurali has set a separate identity for herself with her acting in Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru. She won the Best Actress National Award for her natural yet effective performance in the film. She was recently seen in the Sony LIV’s Sundari Gardens.
She will be next seen in Akasham which has Ashok Selvan in the lead role. The first look poster featuring the actress was released and it is when netizens started to comment her. She made it clear that there isn’t any link between a person’s talent and physical appearance.
She said that due to a few health issues she has put on some weight. A few even asked the actress to do mother roles. Aparna said that she isn’t that old to do such roles and added that people are accepting her for what she is. Aparna further expressed that being slim isn’t the criteria for becoming an actress.
