Baahubali : The Lost Legends, the animated series based on the world of Mahishmathi, is all set to be aired on TV later this year. The animated series is already being aired on Amazon Prime and now, Graphic India, along with Arka Mediaworks, have inked a deal with Colors TV to bring the animated series to small screen across India.
“Baahubali’s success is nothing short of a case study for the Indian filmmakers. Going by the ripples that this masterpiece has generated nationwide, we thought this was the right time to bring to our television audiences the folklores of Baahubali which have been captured stunningly in this animated series,” Raj Nayak, the COO, Viacom 18, said in a statement.
It remains to be seen when the series is going to be aired on TV. Apart from the animated series, a live-action TV series is also said to be on the cards.
