The premiere shows have already taken place for SS Rajamouli and Prabhas’ Baahubali: The Epic in the USA, and the response has been fantastic. Since both installments were merged and presented as a single film, Rajamouli had to let go of some scenes to maintain the flow in the story.
In a special interview with Prabhas and Rana, Rajamouli revealed that there will be a new scene featuring Nassar in this special cut. This particular sequence comes when Shivudu a.k.a. Mahendra Baahubali enters Mahishmathi to set Devasena free from Bhallaladeva’s captivity.
The brand-new sequence plays along with the “Nippule Swasaga” song in the first half, and moviegoers were pleasantly surprised to watch the additional scene during the re-release. For the uninitiated, the re-edited version has a runtime of 3 hours and 44 minutes.
