Baby, starring Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, created a sensation of sorts with both its content and box office performance. Elated by the success, Sai Razesh decided to remake the film in Hindi.

Initially, the team roped in Babil Khan, son of the late Irrfan Khan, as one of the protagonists. However, the actor walked out of the project, and there were no updates after that. While promoting his production venture, Chennai Love Story, Sai Razesh revealed that the majority of the shoot for Baby Hindi version has already been wrapped up.

“Except for the pub scene and a few songs, the shoot is complete. Govinda garu’s son isn’t playing the lead role. I will announce the cast details soon. The remaining portions will be wrapped up in another 10 days. Though he (Babil Khan) isn’t doing the project anymore, we still share a good relationship, and I am ready to work with him,” said Sai Razesh.
