G2, the much-awaited sequel to the 2018 hit Goodachari, is back in the news after a long time. The spy action drama, starring Adivi Sesh, is currently under production, with Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi as the director.
Today, the makers revealed an exciting update regarding the cast, which adds to the film’s intrigue. Bollywood actress Wamiqa Gabbi has been confirmed as the female lead, with the announcement made through a new poster. For those unfamiliar, Wamiqa previously starred in the 2015 Telugu film Bhale Manchi Roju.
Her addition brings even more appeal to the film, which also features Emraan Hashmi, Madhu Shalini, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta, and other key actors.
Set to release later this year, G2 promises to deliver grandeur in terms of scale, budget, content, and storytelling. Produced by People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments, the film’s music is composed by Sricharan Pakala.
