Star heroine Nayanthara, well known as Lady Superstar, has failed to score a massive hit at the box office this month. She appeared in two movies – Gold and Connect – released recently.
Released in the first week of December, Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer Gold sank at the box office without any traces. The Malayali movie was also released in Tamil as Nayanthara played the female lead. Unfortunately, the movie failed to become an average movie even.
Last Thursday, her other recent film, Connect, a horror thriller directed by Ashwin Saravanan also failed to enthral audiences. Nayanthara even gave interviews and attended premieres to promote her film but it didn’t change the film’s fate.
Fans of the star actress are unhappy as her other movies, O2 and God Father, also failed this year and they are requesting the star heroine to choose good scripts that entertain audiences. To note, Nayanthara will be seen next in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, a pan-Indian movie helmed by Atlee.
