After teasing fans since morning, Anirudh and Thaman finally revealed details about their new collaboration, which they playfully call “Bakkodu X Bandodu.” The duo has joined hands for Venky Kudumula’s maiden production venture, Itlu Arjuna.
Thaman is composing the music for the film, which marks the debut of “New Guy in Town” Aniesh, while debutant Mahesh Uppala is directing it. Anirudh has lent his vocals to the film’s first single, Hai Re. The makers also unveiled a cute promo featuring glimpses from the film along with a lovely interaction between the two music composers.
In the promo, Anirudh asks Thaman what kind of mass song it is, to which Thaman replies that it is actually a love song. The full track will be released on May 28. Since the protagonist in the film is deaf and mute, music is said to play a crucial role in the narrative. Anaswara Rajan plays the female lead.
