Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari, which arrived for the last Dussehra festive period, had a successful run in theatres. The movie became the third consecutive hit of Balayya after Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy. Anil Ravipudi directed this emotional action drama, which has Sreeleela in a pivotal role.
The movie recently had its world television premiere on Zee Telugu. The latest news is that Bhagavanth Kesari registered 9.36 TRP on its first telecast. Gone are the days when people used to show interest in watching films on television, and hence, this TRP can be considered good.
Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal played the antagonist, and Bhagavanth Kesari marked his Tollywood debut. Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi, under the banner of Shine Screens, bankrolled Bhagavanth Kesari. SS Thaman composed the tunes. Kajal Aggarwal played another key role.
