The grand worldwide release of hero Prabhas’ highly-anticipated pan-India gangster drama, Salaar, is just a few weeks away. The Prashanth Neel directorial is slated for release on December 22, as a Christmas treat. While the film is fast approaching its release date, Salaar’s unit is currently busy filming a special song at Ramoji Film City.

As per the latest updates, young Punjabi beauty Simrat Kaur, popular for her gorgeous looks and impressive performances in Bangarraju, Dirty Hari and the recently released Bollywood blockbuster, Gadar 2, has been roped in to sizzle in Salaar’s special song. Star choreographer Raju Sundaram’ is supervising the choreography. Prabhas, who has just returned from Italy after a long vacation, is yet to join the song shoot.

Salaar will be locking horns with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki at the box office. Fans of both the stars and even the trade circles are eagerly waiting to see the X’mas winner in this epic clash.

Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu essay key roles in this Hombale Films’ production. Ravi Basrur is scoring the soundtrack.
