Baththa, the latest Tamil film headlined by Vijay Sethupathi, has been receiving attention for its content, with Atlee presenting the film. The filmmaker has now offered an update on its Telugu release.
When an enthusiastic netizen asked Atlee and the Baththa team to release the film in Telugu, Atlee responded in Telugu, saying, “Twaraga vasthundi annaya.” The statement suggests that the Telugu version is on the way, although he did not reveal a specific release date.
It is also unclear whether Baththa will get a theatrical release in Telugu or arrive directly on OTT. While films from other languages eventually become available across multiple languages on streaming platforms, Atlee’s response did not clarify the release platform for the Telugu version. Telugu moviegoers are now waiting for an official announcement regarding the release plans.
Meanwhile, Atlee is busy with his next directorial, Raaka, which has Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone in key roles. The filmmaker has indicated that the film will release soon, but the exact release date is yet to be announced. More details about both projects are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
