There have been a lot of speculations about Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh under Harish Shankar’s direction being an official remake of Kollywood star Vijay’s 2016 superhit cop drama, Theri. While the uncertainty over this remake continues, here’s an exciting update.
The latest buzz in Bollywood circles reveals that Theri director Atlee is planning to remake the film in Hindi with Varun Dhawan. Apparently, both Atlee and Varun have been in talks over this remake for a long time. The project will be going on floors in September, after Atlee’s Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan hits theaters. Atlee himself will co-produce Theri’s Hindi remake along with Murad Khetani.
On the personal front, Atlee and his wife Priya turned proud parents to a baby boy recently.
