While Irumudi continues to dominate the Telugu states, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is making a strong impact at the box office. The Malayalam film, starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju, has delivered an impressive opening weekend.
Directed by Girish AD of Premalu fame, the Malayalam film has grossed more than Rs. 60 crore in its first weekend. According to reports, the film collected close to Rs. 7 crore gross on Sunday alone, further underlining its strong momentum.
The film has benefited greatly from positive word of mouth and is now heading towards the Rs. 100 crore mark. If it gets there, the milestone would mark another major blockbuster for both Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju.
Produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil and Syam Pushkaran, the film also features Sangeeth Prathap, Suresh Krishna, Vinay Forrt, Roshan Shanavas, Shyam Mohan, Shameer Khan and others. Vishnu Vijay has composed the music.
