Lenin is one of the solid hits from Telugu cinema this year. Both the lead actors, Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse, made the much-awaited comebacks they had been waiting for. While there is still no clarity on Akhil’s next project, Bhagyashri already has a big project in her hands.
Bhagyashri Borse has now been officially announced as part of Operation Ganga, the latest big-budget film starring Malayalam legendary actor Mohanlal. She will be seen in a key role in this survival action thriller. Interestingly, this project also marks her entry into Malayalam cinema. It remains to be seen what kind of response she receives from the Malayalam audience.
The film is being directed by Vishnu Mohan and has been announced as a story based on a real-life incident. Shaswath Sachdev, who composed the music for Dhurandhar, is the music director, and this has further raised expectations. Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal will be seen in a vital role. Sree Gokulam Movies is producing the film.
