Telugu cinephiles have been eagerly waiting for the OTT release of Ravi Teja’s Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi (BMW). Generally, Telugu films, including big hits, arrive on OTT within a month of their theatrical release. However, despite completing five weeks, BMW is still not available in the digital space.
ZEE5, which holds the post-theatrical streaming rights, is maintaining silence, and this isn’t going down well with audiences. An interesting rumor has now surfaced online, stating the probable reason behind the delay in the digital premiere. Accordingly, the dubbing work for other language versions is taking more time than expected, which is why the OTT debut has not yet happened.
ZEE5 usually releases prominent films in multiple languages at the same time. Recently, we saw Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu being released in as many as seven languages, and hence this latest speculation about the delay in BMW’s delay seems like a valid reason. Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayati played the female leads, while Kishore Tirumala directed this rom-com entertainer.
