Star Bollywood hero Ajay Devgn has come up with Bholaa to entertain the audience. The movie, directed by the actor himself, is the official remake of Karthi and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Kaithi. The movie hit the screens yesterday. However, the advance bookings have been underwhelming before the release.
Cashing in on the holiday advantage, the movie made 11 crores nett which is decent. Given the following of Ajay Devgn and the mass appeal of Bholaa, the day one figure should have been even better.
Growth over the weekend can ensure 100 crores nett in the final run. Tabu played the Police Inspector role, while Amala Paul played Ajay Devgn’s romantic interest. Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Gajraj Rao, and Vineey Kumar played other key roles.
