Superstar Mahesh Babu’s highly-anticipated 26th film, Sarileru Neekevvaru, was launched in style yesterday. By now, it’s well known that Mahesh will be playing the role of an army major in the film.
Although it’s not compulsory for the Indian Army Majors to sport a moustache, most of the Indian movies set in the army backdrop have been showcasing the military soldiers and the officers sporting neatly styled moustaches. Needless to say, this has created an unforgettable image among the audiences minds about how an Army officer looks like on the screen.
On the other hand, Mahesh rarely sports moustache in his movies. The last time and perhaps the only time he was shown in a moustache was in Bharat Ane Nenu and that too for a few seconds. So, the big question now is – will Mahesh sport a moustache in Sarileru Neekevvaru?
