Contrary to speculations, Sreeleela’s Bollywood debut film, co-starring Kartik Aaryan, has a lot left to be shot. Anurag Basu is directing the romantic musical drama, and he revealed to Variety India that the shooting is not yet done as the reports claimed.
“News that the majority of the shooting is done is a myth. I’ve not shot more than 45 days for this film. The shooting has just started,” said the filmmaker. Last year, a promo was released with an announcement that the film would hit the big screens in December 2025. However, the project is getting delayed due to various reasons.
Anurag Basu, on the other hand, is waiting with bated breath to start working on Kishore Kumar’s biopic as soon as he wraps Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela starrer. The untitled musical drama featuring the Tollywood actress is being bankrolled by T-Series. Pritam is composing the tunes.
