Bigg Boss 17: Shraddha Das reacts on the issue with Mannara Chopra

The Bigg Boss 17 Hindi finale is set to wrap up tonight, leaving six contestants eagerly awaiting the winner’s announcement. However, ahead of this grand finale, actress Mannara Chopra, one of the finalists, became a hot topic on social media, negatively.

Back in 2014, during the filming of her Hindi debut Zid, Mannara Chopra, cousin of actress Priyanka Chopra, was allegedly involved in an incident where she physically hit and threw actress Shraddha Das down a flight of stairs. This incident, resulting in Shraddha’s hospitalization with 30 blood clots, has resurfaced online just before the finale, gaining attention and spreading across various articles on the internet.

Shraddha Das, a couple of days ago, shared her experience on a Bigg Boss 17-related subreddit, expressing her injury during the shoot and criticizing Mannara’s behaviour. She also stated that Mannara’s actions were supported by her sister Priyanka Chopra. Unfortunately, Shraddha’s comment was later removed. This controversy has raised concerns about Mannara’s chances of winning the finale.

In response, Shraddha Das clarified on her social media accounts, stating, “I have not given any official statement on Mannara Chopra or her family to any media person. I have not even hired a PR in the first place. If I wanted to, I would simply put out a video on Twitter or Instagram and gained enough publicity easily, which I have refrained from. Yes, I have been hurt, but I want to stay away from all of this!”

While Shraddha Das receives support from netizens, Mannara Chopra’s fans remain confident that she will emerge victorious. The unfolding events in the Bigg Boss 17 finale will be revealed tonight at 6 PM on Colors channel.
