Sudha Kongara is one of the best ever filmmakers south cinema has produced. First, she made her mark with the film Saala Khadoos which was remade in Telugu with Venkatesh as Guru. Then, the lady director reached unprecedented heights with Soorarai Pottru. The film fetched five national awards and brought Suriya back to form.
However, there are many speculations that Sudha Kongara will be making a biopic on Ratan Tata, an industrialist and former chairman of Tata Group. The businessman has a phenomenal craze among youngsters for his humanitarian and philanthropic activities. Hence fans felt happy thinking that a biopic on this legend is on the cards.
Sudha Kongara clarified that she has no intention of making a biopic on Ratan Tata though she is a huge admirer of him. She thanked fans for showing much interest in her next film. Right now, she is helming the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, which has Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
