Action King Arjun’s action-comedy entertainer Blast is a sleeper hit at the box office. The film was released with low hype, but it went on to gross over Rs. 75 crores. Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan played the other lead roles.
The movie made its OTT debut on Netflix yesterday, and within just a day of its digital premiere, it topped the Netflix India charts. The film is drawing solid viewership across languages, resulting in a massive reach.
Subash Raj made his directorial debut with Blast. Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh backed the film under the AGS Entertainment banner, while Ravi Basrur composed the music.
