Vijay Antony’s Bichagadu 2 did solid business in Telugu states. The historical success of Bichagadu (Pichaikkaran in Tamil) in Telugu states is the reason for Bichagadu 2’s exemplary box office performance. Bichagadu struck a chord with masses and family audiences with its emotional content. The movie is one of the biggest hits in Telugu in terms of ROI (Return on Investment).

The even more interesting fact is the Telugu version collected more moolah than the Tamil version. Bichagadu will have a re-release in Telugu states on 15th September, according to the latest update. The movie was written and directed by Sasi while it was backed by Fatima Vijay Antony under the banner of Vijay Antony Film Corporation. Satna Titus played the female lead. Bagavathi Perumal, Vazhakku En Muthuraman, and Dheepa Ramanujam played supporting roles. Vijay Antony himself composed the film’s tunes.
