The Kashmir Files, which came at the beginning of the year, has created several box office records. Starting with a mere 3 crore opening, the film went on to hit the 250 crore mark, which shows the acceptance levels of the movie among the audience.
The film has now added one honor to its tally. It has been officially selected for the prestigious Switzerland International Film Festival. One of the film producers, Abhishek Agarwal, announced this news. The Kashmir Files is based on the struggle and pain undergone by the Kashmiri Pandit Community during an exodus in the 1990s.
The film is written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. It stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborthy, Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi Joshi in the main roles. The film is produced by Zee Studios in association with Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi, and Vivek Agnihotri.
