The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, sprung a surprise by minting more than 250 crores at the box office. The film was selected for the Indian Panorama Section of the IFFI (International Film Festival of India) and was screened today in Inox, Panjim, in Goa.
Earlier, the movie was the official selection for the Seattle Film Festival and Awareness Film Festival. Now the film received another honor by getting screened at the IFFI 2022. Abhishek Agarwal, the film’s producer, and actor Anupam Kher who played a crucial role in the movie, graced the event.
Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi, and Mithun Chakraborty played vital roles in the movie, based on the agony, anguish, and struggle of the Kashmiri Pandit Community in the 1990s period.
