The Kashmir Files based on the massacre of Kashmiri pandits is a monstrous hit. Vivek Agnihotri the director has handled this sensitive topic pretty well and gained appreciation.
In a recent interview, the director said that he supports the boycott trend. He opined that the trend is helping the audience vent their frustration with the poor content from Bollywood. He clarified that he isn’t against any individual in particular.
Vivek further added that this trend will do the world of good to Bollywood by making the filmmakers concentrate on the basic things required for a movie which are the story, director, and writer. Vivek further suggested Bollywood not fall into the trap of fake publicity.
