It’s been reported earlier that a biopic on the inspiring life and achievements of Indian badminton champ PV Sindhu has been on the cards for the last few months. Bollywood star Sonu Sood will be producing this project, while the names of the actor who will reprise Sindhu’s role and the director who will helm the project are yet to be made official.
Now, in a latest interview, Sonu Sood had confirmed that he will be playing legendary Indian badminton player turned coach Pullela Gopichand’s role in Sindhu’s biopic. It’s well-known that it was Gopichand who had paved the way to many of Sindhu’s landmark victories in the world badminton arena. The PV Sindhu biopic will go on floors early next year.
