Hero Varun Tej’s sports drama, Boxer, had wrapped up a crucial schedule in Vizag in March. The film’s shooting has been stalled due to the lockdown ever since. Meanwhile, there has been a lot of buzz about the film’s leading lady.
As per the latest updates, the makers have roped in Bollywood starlet Saiee Manjrekar as Varun’s leading lady. Saiee had made her acting debut with Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3. She was earlier rumored to have been finalized for Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata and was reported to be under consideration for Boxer.
Allu Venkatesh and Siddhu Mudda are producing this film, which is being directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati. Sandalwood star Upendra plays a key role in the movie.
