On the fifth day of its run, the latest box office monster, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, has zoomed past the Rs. 200 crore mark globally. No other senior hero from Tollywood has two Rs. 200 crore grossers, but Megastar Chiranjevi is ruling the roost as Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu emerged as his third Rs. 200 crore grosser.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya have achieved this milestone earlier. Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is storming the box office left, right, and center, with the film reporting staggering occupancies everywhere. Especially in the Coastal Andhra region, the movie directed by Anil Ravipudi is going bonkers.
To meet the demand, the exhibitors are even scheduling midnight shows in a few centers. Produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under the banners of Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments, the biggie stars Nayanthara as the female lead. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the tunes. Victory Venkatesh played a cameo.
