The Kerala Story, a controversial film based on the religious irregularities released in theaters on the 5th of May. The film opened to very poor reviews.
However, the poor reviews have shown no effect on the box office run of The Kerala Story. The film has started off on an excellent note at the box office.
The film has collected around Rs 7.50 crore nett in India in its opening day.
On the other hand, other new release, Guardians Of Galaxy 3 has started off with Rs 7 crores nett on its opening day.
