Box office: Vishwanath & Sons faces tough competition from Irumudi

Vishwanath & Sons has emerged as a massive hit at the box office, with Suriya and Mamitha Baiju’s family entertainer receiving strong appreciation from audiences.

The film crossed the ₹100 crore worldwide mark and has continued its impressive run. Now, the big question is whether the film can sustain its momentum with Ravi Teja’s Irumudi arriving in theatres tomorrow.

The Shiva Nirvana directorial is carrying good hype, and its strong family emotions and devotional backdrop have created interest among moviegoers.

If Irumudi gets positive word of mouth after the early shows, there is every chance that audiences will turn up in big numbers, especially family crowds.

Vishwanath & Sons is already in a comfortable position commercially, but its weekend performance remains important in some areas to determine how strong its overall theatrical run will be.
