Released last month by Chai Bisket Films and Annapurna Studios, Boys Hostel is the Telugu adaptation of the Kannada dark comedy Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare, directed by newcomer Nithin Krishnamurthy. The Kannada version had made waves in the Sandalwood industry as a blockbuster.

The latest update unveiled the OTT release date for the movie. ZEE5, the streaming platform, has officially announced that the Kannada version will premiere on September 15, 2023, while details about the release of the Telugu version are still pending.

The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Manjunath Nayaka, Prajwal BP, Srivatsa Shyam, Gagan Ram, Shreyas Sharma, Bharath Vashist, Tejas Jayanna, Rishab Shetty, Pawan Kumar, Diganth Manchale, and others, with special cameo appearances by Pawan Kumar, Ramya, and Rishab Shetty. Produced by Gulmohur Films and Varrun Studios, the movie features music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
