It’s been more than 9 months since the Tollywood magnum opus RRR hit the screens. Created by SS Rajamouli, the epic period drama, which has been making waves worldwide, has the star actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR as the protagonists.
The interesting yet the happiest news to movie lovers is that RRR has been shortlisted in one of the 10 categories announced. The movie is competing with other 14 entries in the Best Music (Original Score) category. Composed by MM Keeravaani, the outstanding mass track Naatu Naatu has been selected as one of the tracks that will be going to be nominated for the Oscars. The Academy will announce nominations on January 24, 2023.
Not only Indians but many Westerners, who fell in love with the track for its concept and choreography, are eagerly waiting to see the track in the final nominations. The 95th Academy Awards will be held on March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
