Tollywood has been going through a tough phase off late as many artists have passed away. Popular choreographer Suchitra Chadrabose’s father, Chandh Baasha, breathed his last in his Manikonda residence yesterday
He was 92 at the time of his demise. Chand Baasha worked as a music director for many south Indian films. He is the uncle of popular lyricist Chandrabose. Chand Baasha is survived by his three daughters and a son.
Some of his notable works in Telugu include Khadga Tikkana, Bangaru Sankellu, Snehamena Jeevitham, and Maanavude Devudu. His famous works in Kannada are Amara Bharathi and Chedina Kidi. The last rites of the music composer will be performed at 11 AM in Mahaprasthanam today.
