Love & War is the upcoming biggie from Bollywood starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles. The romantic war action saga is being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie has been in the making for a long time.
Love & War was supposed to be released for Eid 2026, but the film will miss the slot due to shoot delays. As per the latest reports in the Bollywood media, the shoot has been extended till May 2026, and now the team is eying an August 2026 release.
Due to delays in production, the film’s budget is also said to have been increased. Initially, Ranbir Kapoor requested the director to release the film in June 2026 to ensure there is a sufficient gap between Love & War and Ramayana: Part 1 (Diwali release). However, going by the latest developments, June 2026 release seems to have been ruled out for Love & War.
