Building collapses in Film Nagar Cultural Center, many feared dead

In a shocking tragedy, an under construction building collapsed in the Film Nagar Cultural Center (FNCC) premises in Film Nagar, Hyderabad, leaving two dead. Already, two bodies of construction labourers have been recovered from the debris.

As per the preliminary information, at least 20 people, mostly construction labourers, are struck under the heavy concrete slabs and pillars that collapsed in the mishap. All the eight pillars were uprooted in the fall.

Film Nagar being one of the busiest and prime localities in Jubilee Hills, policemen and officials have responded quickly and are carrying out rescue operations.
