Atlee created a sensation with his Bollywood debut film Jawan which starred Shah Rukh Khan. For the past few months he has been busy with the pre-production works of his next project which features Megastar Salman Khan in the lead role. But a latest report in Peeping Moon suggests that the biggie has run into issues.
The report mentioned, “As Atlee nears the scripting, he understood that the project has grown much bigger. The film now requires at least Rs. 400 crore to bring his vision to life. As Salman’s recent films didn’t meet expectations, producers are hesitant to invest such huge amount.”
It is said that Atlee shifted his focus to Icon Star Allu Arjun since the Salman starrer has hit a major roadblock in the form of financial hurdles. The report further stated that Allu Arjun is excited to collaborate with Atlee and that Sun Pictures is showing interest in producing this biggie.
