Dhruv Vikram, son of Chiyaan Vikram, scored a massive blockbuster with the sports action drama Bison. After the film’s huge success, there were rumours that Dhruv would collaborate with Mani Ratnam for a romantic drama, with Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead.
The latest reports suggest that Dhruv Vikram and Rukmini Vasanth will indeed collaborate, but the project will be helmed by debutant Deepak Reddy, who won accolades for his short film Manasanamaha. The film is said to be a rom-com entertainer and will also star Sreeleela as another female lead.
Top Tollywood production house Mythri Movie Makers is expected to launch Dhruv Vikram in Telugu. Man of the moment Sai Abyankkar is said to be composing the music. Though there has been no official announcement, the news is going viral.
