Tollywood star NTR’s Bollywood debut film, War 2, was released on August 14 and has amassed over Rs 175 crore gross at the box office worldwide. Also starring Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in lead roles, the Ayan Mukerji directorial is showing a decent hold at the ticket counters.
Meanwhile, interesting buzz has begun doing the rounds on the internet. Apparently, NTR’s character in War 2 was supposed to die in the climax in the original version of the script. However, Tarak is said to have requested the film’s producer, Aditya Chopra, to change the final act to satisfy his fans.
NTR was reportedly apprehensive about his fans’ reception to such a tragic climax on his Hindi debut, prompting him to request the crucial change. Well, only the makers of War 2 would know the actual story, and whether or not they choose to react to the ongoing rumors remains to be seen.
