It is said that legendary writer Vijayendra Prasad is penning the script currently and has discussed the idea with maverick SS Rajamouli. If this film materializes, we can see a new wave of spin-off films in Tollywood.
Reportedly, the movie will showcase the backstory of Kattappa’s life and how he became the most trusted disciple of Mahishmathi. The word is that the pre-visualization work has already kick-started. Not Rajamouli, but some other director is expected to helm the project.
