Gopichand’s last few films failed to make a mark, and his market has taken a severe hit. The actor is now in desperate need of a solid hit to bounce back. Currently, he is working on an ambitious film with Ghazi fame Sankalp Reddy, which is in the production phase.
It is now being said that Gopichand has signed another exciting project. Reportedly, popular fight master Venkat is set to make his directorial debut with this film, which is touted to be a full-on mass entertainer packed with high-octane action. Venkat, known for choreographing powerful stunts in films like Daaku Maharaj and Bhagavanth Kesari, is now stepping behind the camera.
Gopichand is said to have been quite impressed with the script and gave his immediate nod. The film will be likely bankrolled by 70mm Entertainments, the banner behind compelling films like Yatra, Sridevi Soda Center and Anando Brahma. An official announcement is expected to be made on August 9th.
