Samantha starrer Shaakuntalam’s trailer was launched recently which received a very good response. The team is promoting the film on an aggressive note by releasing back-to-back songs. The PAN Indian movie is actually scheduled to release on 17th February.

The latest buzz in the Tollywood film circles is that the movie might not hit the big screens as per the planned date. The talk is that the movie is facing theatre issues in other languages, which is forcing the team to postpone the release. Also, the fact that Karthik Aryan’s Shehzada got shifted to 17th February from 10th February is sure to have an effect on Shaakuntalam’s Hindi release.

An official confirmation regarding the same is expected soon from the production house. The movie was supposed to release in November, but it got deferred to February due to the delay in 3D format works. Dev Mohan plays King Dushyant’s role in this flick which is based on the play Abhigyanam Shaakuntalam written by Kalidasa.

Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Aditi Balan, Gauthami, Ananya Nagalla, and Kabir Duhan are playing vital roles. This mythological drama is directed by Gunasekhar and is produced by Neelima Guna under Gunaa Team Works.
